Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's Restaurant invites you to explore her inner world through her food creations. She began to be interested in food and cooking after moving from suburbs of Long Island to the diverse culture that is Los Angeles. Her belief that cavatelli as well as carnitas may co-exist in harmony on the same menu gives a distinct taste always changing. The only thing that remains is her unique idea of the future and still wishing to reminisce about the historical past. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso, who is inspired with her Italian American tradition. It was met with a warm welcome. The interpretation that Lofaso has given to old-fashioned Italian is considered to be one of the most compelling places to enjoy Italian food in Los Angeles. Customers describe Scopa as an important local institution where Lofaso regularly serves meals that are authentic, and invariably delicious. Lofaso worked as an apprentice for chefs, learning their techniques and taking risks. She didn't hesitate to take risks to pursue her own intuition. She worked in close collaboration with a number of well-known celebrities, and soon rose up the ranks within Wolfgang Puck's Spago. In 2011, Lofaso was partnered together with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to open Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Lofaso's home was found within Black Market Liquor Bar and her business alliances. Lofaso would find the freedom in her work to pursue the creativity she longed for through this partnership. Black Market does not have a single direction, which is the reason why it was created. A course might begin with chips of dill potato and some shishito peppers. Then, you can have lobster roll Korean wings, followed by a variety of meatballs. Antonia is the star of this extravagant array. Lofaso is able to measure her success by her in-depth knowledge of her viewers, but remains in line with her personal style. She's been on several television shows like Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars and Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents continue to be highlighted in her role as a judge on the CNBC show Restaurant Startup. Lofaso published The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 easy and Delicious recipes in 2012 along in collaboration with Penguin. The book also tells the story of her challenges when she was a student in an institution called the French Culinary Institute. She had a daughter, Xea also. Lofaso believes that the motivation to achieve her goals originates from cooking and it's from this perspective that she continues to have unwavering fingers on the pulse. Chefletics Her brand, Chefletics will revolutionize the style of chefwear through combining design and function. Lofaso insists on staying true to you and your goals.
