Mary McCormack was an American actress, best known for her portrayals as the main character in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Apart from her TV roles, McCormack has also had film roles such as Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". McCormack is a native of Connecticut, born into a family with no entertainment connections in any way in her family tree is the daughter of a clinical therapy professional and the owner of an ice cream parlor. Following the separation of her parents, McCormack enrolled to Trinity College Hartford, Connecticut. In the year 1990, following finishing her studies at Wardlaw-Hartridge School with a BA, she graduated. Her career started at the twelve years old when she appeared in a stage version of an opera for Christmas titled "Amahl and the Night Visitor'. The actress continued to perform on stage and finally landed roles on both the large and small screens. McCormack, today recognized as one of Hollywood's best artists. McCormack has three daughters along together with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
