Christina Haack was conceived in Anaheim, California. She began her career in real estate after graduating from high school. She was introduced to Tarek Al Moussa, who was in the industry of real estate. The couple had great prosperity until the 2008 stock market crash which resulted in a number of real estate investors and home flippers go bankrupt. Tarek El Moussa and Christina El Moussa almost ended up losing everything due to the crash. The couple moved from an expensive home where they paid $6,000 a month to a smaller house that was only $700. In the meantime, their business as well as the economy overall recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame Tarek in 2011 asked a friend to aid him in making an HGTV tape that showed Christina and him flipping the house from start to the end. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. These executives were fascinated by Tarek's and Christina's love story. They reached a deal with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" began its premiere in April of 2013. In seven seasons, the show ran from 2013 until 2017. Christina as well as Tarek were shown buying houses typically in Orange County.
