Catherine Tate measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Catherine Ford was born in Bloomsbury, London; her father had abandoned the family, and so she was taken care of by her mother, grandma and godparents. When she was a infant, Ford struggled with anxious disorders, obsessive/compulsive and was afflicted by word associations. Ford started to become fascinated by acting as a teenager, and she joined the National Youth Theatre. Ford was accepted into the Sylvia Young Theatre School. After just a few weeks, she realized it was not for her. Ford decided to apply instead for admission to the Central School of Speech and Drama and was eventually offered the position she wanted on her third try. Shaun Dingwall was one of Ford's classmates. Shaun Dingwall was later to play recurring roles as Pete Tyler and Doctor Who. Ford received her degree in 1993. But, before then, Ford made a television debut when she appeared as a character in Surgical Spirit in an episode that aired in 1990. Ford took the professional name Catherine Tate. Tate was featured in such TV shows such including The Bill, Men Behaving Badly and London Burning. Tate's regular involvement in the theatre brought her into The Royal Shakespeare Company, for the 2000-2001 Season. Tate's stand-up comedy style, which she began adding to her show in 1996, quickly gained her admiration.
